Health and wellness is more than keeping your body fit—it’s also about keeping your mind strong. The theme for Summer Reading this year is health and wellness, and these books are all about teens who struggle to keep their mental health.
The 2018 event will be held Oct. 7 – 13th, featuring the theme “It’s Written in the Stars: READ.” Library staff, aftercollege providers and educators can use this theme to encourage teens to think and read outside of the box, as well as seek out fantasy, science fiction and other out-of- this-world reads.
